I love the northeast, I like being in a city with public transit that's also not too far from the natural world. Bars, people, nightlife are all important to me.
I'm moving because I found a new job in Chicago
I have always been curious about living in Detroit (bigger city, more diverse), and now that I am 100% not bound to a specific location for work, I said heck why not! I just moved over last weekend.
I moved out to LA a couple years ago looking for new adventure, but after 2 years of not making any friends beyond the casual, I started to miss the people I was close to back home. Covid-19 quarantine measures have just further reinforced how important human connections are, so I'm going back to be closer to the people I love.
