We came to Jacksonville from Italy to help friends finish their sailboat so we could all cruise the Caribbean. None of us are retired, so we need to work while cruising. My wife and I are already "digital nomads" and have been traveling for the past 2.5 years, but our friends still work 40 hour a week jobs with a house in the suburbs of Jacksonville. COVID has shaken things up enough with traditional sailboat cruising that it doesn't look like they'll go before 2022 if at all. We are moving to help another friend with his pool cleaning business (which is booming even amid the pandemic) and to look for a sailboat of our own along the Texas coast.
