I was recently laid off due to COVID-19. Although I love the area, it's expensive living in Orange County and job prospects are limited. My sister lives on the coast near Jacksonville, FL and has been pushing me to move out that way for a few years. I'm not excited about the humidity or "redness" of that state but if I can find a job out there it would be worth to be near her and other family I have on the east coast.

My apartment lease in Newport Beach is expiring (My portion of the two bedroom is $1400). Given that I was told by my company “expect not to be in the office until 2021”, I will not be signing a lease and will be moving back in with parents temporarily to save money. I am 25 years old working in commercial real estate research and analytics.
